Green Association

« Les Amis de l'Euro » (The friends of the Euro) is an association resolutely attached to the concept « Zero paper », this for three main reasons:

• First of all, for the environment: less paper is less pollution.
• Secondly for a question of time: our volunteers spend less time to deal with digital information than with paper information.
• Finally for a question of cost: e-mails cost less than paper !

So we encourage our members, whenever it is possible, to use the data processing way to communicate as well between them than with the volunteers’ team.

Some practical applications :

• In the centralized orders process, all the orders are placed exclusively via internet. For the payments, the use of the credit card is possible. For the payments by cheque, it is only necessary to slip it in an envelope without additional paper.
• The annual contributions’ call up is sent at first by e-mail, then by paper if there is no reply.
• The association’s management is carried out in a dematerialized way: reports, contacts (...) are almost exclusively made or taken by the data processing way, always in the aim to reduce the use of paper.
