MONACO The €2 Grace Kelly event

In 2007 Monaco issued a €2 euro cc dedicaced to her princess Grace Kelly, actually the market price for this coin is around € 1000, the most expensive €2 coin from the euro currency was in circulation. So this coin became THE coin to have.
The issuing price was € 110 and make every collectors surprised and so do not bought it but today every collector want it ! a maximum of 20.001 person could have it in their own collection.
From this time every Monaco's coin issue is a real event in the numismatic world, every body want these coin immediatly and are ready to pay the price for it . Following the last BCE recommendations the situation may change due to the new amount of euro coins micro states are autorized to mint every year.
