Note about membership recruitment
The recruitment of new members is the foremost goal of any collectors’ society or organization, a large number of members being needed to: - spread costs, - increase the number of sources of information available, - increase the number of competent volontaries able to take in charge new society's activities, - increase the society’s available funds. With this in mind, the society : - has on its website a visitors free-access section, in which the society's goals, activities and implementations are explained, both those of an ongoing nature (such as the catalogue of Euro coins and Euro coin sets, discussion forum..) and of a more irregular nature, such as the members' centralized order service for newly issued coin sets or Euro coins, - lets its members distribute a flier explaining its activities in coin fairs, to professionnal numismatists, in other numismatic associations, - exchanges links with other numismatics-related internet sites to publicize its own internet site, - makes strenuous efforts to obtain coverage in newspapers, either to communicate information relating to the Euro in general interest media outlets, or to publicize its activities in numismatic publications. - makes strenuous efforts to place a presentation of the society (obviously for free) in books and catalogues for collectors relating to the Euro, in France and elsewhere in Europe. - participates in coin fairs in France and elsewhere in Europe in order to present the society’s activities and talk about the Euro, Europe and collecting Euros.
